Alas, the subject line is not the title for a new short story. I know, I’m disappointed too.
It is, unfortunately, more like the tease that is my life right now with so many “balls in the air”: do THIS! do THAT! go HERE! go THERE! And I’m not even parent, I’m just talking about trying to juggle grad school, a full-time job, and a writing career.
This weekend I intended to draft a 3k word research paper that is due soonish. SO much fail, people, so much fail. I might feel more righteous if I had written a lot on a story or two, but the fail is equitable across the board.
I’ve got a vacation to Boston to see family coming up this week. My book Dawn in the Orchard is coming out on the 28th. It’s mid-terms, bayyybeeee! I should spend more time writing; more time studying; more time promoting; more time…sleeping?
I need a nap, and it’s not even 7am yet. *pouts*
