Cooper West ponderings

Doneski! Grad school is (almost) in the bag!

Apr 27, 2012 | gradschool, Modus Operandi

Last night was my FINAL final exam; it was not horrific but was two hours of handwritten long-essay answers (I know! Weird!) and when I turned it in, I was DONE.

I am doing an internship in my field this summer for credit for a specialized certificate, so I’m not out of the gristmill yet, but in regards to going to classes, reading assignments, group projects (*shudder*), and term papers I am done!

This is a huge weight off my shoulders, and I’m both excited and scared. I need a job — I have a couple of part time ones on campus, but they don’t pay the bills, and financial aid (which I have a love/hate relationship with) can only bleed out so far.

More importantly, I need to write! I’ve missed it. I’ve missed the excitement of telling stories and having them published and knowing that people are reading them and (mostly!) enjoying them. So sometime today, I’m back at it. Writing! Yay!

Brave new world, indeed! I kind of want to hug everyone right now. <3
